Thank you to the entire Kojain community for their overwhelming support in making the Kojain Sammelan at Chicago a huge success.

It is with great pleasure and honor, we, the Kutchchhi people of Greater Chicago area want to take this opportunity to extend our personal greetings and invitations to ALL the Kutchchhi people of North America, India and in other parts of the World, hoping that you will come and join us for the 7th KOJAIN Sammelan to be held from 27th – 29th July of 2012 in Chicago, USA.

The Chicago Kutchchhi community is excited to be hosting this Sammelan which promises to offer a wonderful opportunity to come and meet with all other kutchchhi families, who will be attending the seminar, from many different parts of the World. The spectacular opening ceremony will be an event in itself, with Mr. Liladhar M. Gada, Founder Trustee of Bhojay Sarvoday Trust, Bhojay, Kachchh, popularly known as 'ADHA', will be our keynote speaker on Saturday, July 28 at the opening Session, combined with many unique programs, ensuring all attendees will have an opportunity to savor Kutchchh's long forgotten delights; renew old friendships and forge new ones and that will continue long after the closing ceremonies.

The theme of the Sammelan is "Panjo Rangeelo Kutch". The theme reflects our Kutchchhi heritage which maybe rapidly changing and may be in danger of disappearing as we move forward in the 21st Century. Our hope in planning this event is to keep that tradition alive and hand it over to the new generation with a desire that they will continue to keep this tradition alive and pass along to their new generation. In addition to the main event a range of exhibitions will provide further information on our proud heritage; display artifacts of our culture and aim to provide many interesting information not only to us but also to our new generations who may not yet have experienced the Kutchchh the way most of us did growing up.

Once again, we extend our heartiest welcome to all guests of the KOJAIN community to the 7th KOJAIN Sammelan event which will be a once in a lifetime experience and whose memory will last well beyond the 3 day event.

We strongly urge everyone to mark their calendar and sign up quickly to take an early bird advantage on special reduced rate on Registration fees.
