Thank you to the entire Kojain community for their overwhelming support in making the Kojain Sammelan at Chicago a huge success.

The Kutchchhi Chicago committee has been planning for the past year to provide you with an entertaining, enjoyable and memorable KOJAIN convention. 
“Panjo Rangeelo Kutch” defines our homeland, our heritage, our culture and our people. We would like to showcase and highlight the colors of Kutch thoughout the weekend. 

We are going to have some of our convention favorites such as a garba raas and a statewide talent show but this year we hope to introduce new and fresh events such as an interactive Bollywood night and Kutch Utsav.

2012 Kojain Sammelan at Chicago

With the backdrop of beautiful Chicago, home to a vibrant Kutchchhi and Jain community, we also have some offsite events such as a visit to the Jain temple in Bartlett and an Amazing Kutchchhi Race for youths/young adults through the bustling streets of downtown Chicago.

As always, we have a wide array of workshops dedicated to providing the community with ways to enrich and learn from experts in various fields. We have our crowd favorite entrepreneurship session in addition to sessions on medicine and financial planning. Service oriented, religious and youth workshops round out the offering.
Most important with this convention, we hope that people reconnect with family and friends and build new connections for the future. 

On this site you will find our preliminary schedule with some basic information regarding the adult activities. This will constantly be updated so keep checking back for updates and new noteworthy events.

    Talent Show Competition by state
    A Talent Show Competition where each state will be able to submit an item for performance. Submit your entry by July 1st, 2012. For additional details, please visit our Chicagokojain.com web site and look for details in the Program tab above the title.

    Bollywood Night Entertainment:

    Come dressed as your favorite Bollywood character and join us for a night of movies, masti and magic. We will open the dance floor afterwards to keep the party going late into the night. This is your chance to release your inner Bollywood star.  Time to show your dance moves!
