For those of you who have been to Kutchchh you will know exactly what this theme is referring to. The colors, the warmth, the hospitality is what makes Kutchchh amazing and unique. As Kutchchhi youths we have the responsibility of keeping Kutchchhi traditions and heritage alive and vibrant while passing it on to future generations. 

We hope to incorporate this convention’s theme into our youth program by providing a colorful representation of what being Kutchchhi and more specifically what being a Kutchchhi youth truly means.

On this site you will find our preliminary schedule with some basic information regarding the youth convention plan. This will constantly be updated so keep checking back for updates and new noteworthy events.

 Friday:

Game room open – Friday 2-4pm 

Enjoy a room full of games and fun. This room is ideal for youths under 16. This room will be kept open for select hours during the convention.   If you have spare time and want to get to know others in the convention, we suggest that you spend some time here playing your favorite games.

Icebreakers – Friday 4-5pm 

Reconnect with old friends and build new relationships in the kickoff of the youth program. Be ready to share random and fun facts about yourself and come prepared to be silly!

Garba Raas – Friday 8-11pm 

We can’t have a gathering of Kutchchhi’s without a garba raas. Bust out your Chaniya cholis and kurtas. BYO Pagdi

Social Mixer – Friday 11pm-late 

Catch your breath after the garba raas and get back to reconnecting and networking with other Kutchchhi youths.

 Saturday:

Photo Scavenger Hunt – Saturday 9am-11:30am 

Bring your camera and creativity as you race to create a pictorial representation of various clues that will take you on a heart-pounding adventure.

Amazing Race – Saturday 8am-1:30pm

Welcome to the Amazing Kutchchhi Race. Part scavenger hunt, part self-guided tour, part race and ALL FUN, the Amazing Kutchchhi Race is the world’s only competitive Kutchchhi sight-seeing tour of Chicago. If you ever wanted to have a reality show experience, are looking for a sight-seeing tour unlike any other, or just want to explore Chicago in a completely new way, the Amazing Kutchchhi Race is for you! Walking shoes not included. Limited to ages 16-35, sorry adults. Need to sign Waiver and Release of Liability Form to participate in this event. RSVP for this event is now open. Youth Conferences – Saturday 3pm-6pm 

Come enjoy youth sessions at this year's KOJAIN convention. You'll get a chance to hear about recent volunteers from Kutchchh, entrepreneurship, and more. Come ready to share your own stories and experiences from Kutchchh and discuss what it means for our generation to be Kutchchhis in America.

50 State Cultural Program – Saturday 8pm-10pm 

A Kutchchhi convention tradition. Come ready to perform for the entire convention. Details on how to register for this opportunity to follow.

Bollywood night – Saturday 10pm-12am 

Come dressed as your favorite Bollywood character and join us for a night of movies, masti and magic. We will open the dance floor afterwards to keep the party going late into the night. This is your chance to release your inner Bollywood star!

 Sunday:

Final Farewell – Sunday 11am-12:30pm 

Say your final goodbyes to old and new friends and plan to meet at KOJAIN 2014.
