Q :    Is $115 price for one person or for a whole family? 
A  :   $115 Price is per adult person and is good until June 30, 2012 For complete pricing chart click here.

Q :    Is there any registration discount for the whole family?
A  :    There is no registration discount per family. We had an early bird registration discount per person which ended March 31^st, 2012.

Q :    Is there any discount for Senior Citizens?
A  :    There is no special discount for Senior Citizens.

Q  :    I want to get Priority Seating at the convention. How can I get that?
A  :    Priority Seating is not available. Seating is first come first served basis only except for some seats designated (reserved) for dignitaries and special guests and speakers.

Q :    My child is 4 years old. Do I need to register him/her?
A  :    Yes, every person attending the sammelan, regardless of age, must be registered, but there is no charge for kids up to age of 5.  However, children 5 years and above have registration fee. 

Q :    Is there a single day registration available?
A  :    No, you must register for the whole convention.

Q:   How many registration form/s should I fill out?
A :  For the purpose of 2012 Kojain Sammelan at Chicago, one registration form is needed for all family members residing at the same physical address and planning to attend the Sammelan.

Q:   Is there any extra charge for Food, Sessions or Evening events?
A:    Food, sessions and evening events are all covered in the convention registration fee. There may be a separate charge for any optional special events that may come up  (like an evening cruise) later on. Currently there is no plan for any such event.

Q:   What is the $30 Non Kojain Membership fee ? 
A:    If you are not a current KOJAIN member there is an additional $30 fee that needs to be paid per registration form.

Q:    What type of Kojain membership can I sign up for ? 
A:     Kojain Offers two types of membership - Individual and Family. For each type of membership you can sign up for a two year term or as a Life member. Membership fees range from $30 for Individual two year membership to $250 for a Family Life membership. For additional details please visit the main Kojain website.

Q:     What is Kojain Family membership?
A :    Family Membership consists of Husband, Wife and Unmarried children less than 25 years of age.

Q:    Do I need to register for the convention if I plan to serve as a volunteer?
A  :  Yes, all volunteers have to register and pay registration fees for the convention.

Q :   My friend is interested in attending the convention but he is not Kutchchhi Jain. Can he register for the convention?
A  :   Absolutely. However, the fees for non members will apply.  See Registration form for details.

Q :    How do I register?
A  :    You have option to register on line or by mail.  See Registration form for more details.

Q :    I wish to register online. How will I pay?
A  :   While filling out the registration form online, you will have a choice to pay using Paypal or to mail a check. You decide how you want to pay. Paying with paypal allows you to use your credit card, and you will not have to mail anything. Everything will be completed online. If you decide to pay with check, you need to mail in the check.  Regardless of how you choose to pay, we encourage everyone to complete the registration online.

Q :    What or how does Paypal work? Is it secure? 
A  :   Here is a link to the paypal site that has a video explaining how paypal works, and steps it takes to secure your payment data. We at Kojain will never be receiving or storing any of your payment data. Paypal Link 

Q :    I have never used Paypal. Can I use paypal to pay for my registration?
A:     If you have do not have a paypal account, then when you finish your registration and had selected to pay with paypal, you will be directed to the Paypal web site where you will complete your payment and a new paypal account will be created for you. 

Q:    Oops. I wanted to pay with Paypal, but for whatever reason I didn't or cannot complete my payment after I finished my registration. Is there a second chance to pay using Paypal?
A:     If you already have registered with us, regardless of which payment method you had selected, the confirmation email contains a link to allow you to pay through paypal and information about where to mail the check. You can complete your payment using either paypal or check regardless about which method you had selected initially. If you are having difficulty completing your payment, Contact us and we will help you in completing your payment. Do not re-register again, as this would create duplicate registration.

Q :    I wish to mail a check. Where should I send it?
A:     Make your check payable to: “KOJAIN” and mail to attention of

       To ensure proper credit and processing, include your Registration Id on the check. 

Q :    Why do I have to register now?
A  :    The choice is yours on when to register.  However, we encourage you take advantage of our early bird special of $99.  The sooner you register, the less you will have to pay not only in registration fees but also for travelling fees. 

Q :    After registering early, if I cannot make it to the event, can someone else attend in my place?
A  :   No,  Registration is NOT transferable.  .

Q :    I do not have internet connection. How do I register?
A  :    You may download, print and fill out a blank paper registration form or if you need additional help please contact Mr. Khushal Vira at (708) 799-8472. Click here to download a blank Registration form.

Q :    I want to cancel the registration. How can I get a refund and what amount will be refunded?
A  :    Please review the cancellation policy on the registration form, and fill out the Contact Us form.

Q :    I would like to donate money or/and sponsor an event for the Sammelan. How can I donate or sponsor?
A  :    Well, thank you for your thoughts. On our site there is a tab for Donations & Sponsorship. Click on that and choose the level of donation and/or the event you like to sponsor. Fill out the form and send in your payment along with the form to the address given in the form. . Alternatively, on registration form, there is a line where you can enter the amount you want to donate and follow instructions to complete the process.

Q :    Can I come early or leave late after the convention?
A  :   You can come early, but convention registration officially starts at  10:00AM on Friday July 27^th. You can leave anytime but the convention officially ends at 12:00 PM Sunday July 29th.

Q:   What about accommodations? Where should I stay ?
A:    If you are planning to stay at a hotel, we recommend to stay at the Holiday inn - Rolling Meadows, the same hotel where the Sammelan is being held.
